Size Guide

Measuring takes a minute and saves a return. Measure the neck, not the old collar.

How to measure

Slip a soft tape measure under the collar your dog is wearing, close the tape, and read the number. Leave room for two fingers between the tape and the neck — a collar that is too tight is worse than one that is slightly loose.

No soft tape? Use a piece of string, then lay it flat against a ruler. A standard credit card is 8.56 cm wide, which is enough to sanity-check a rough measurement.

Collar and lead set — S / M / L

Size Neck Length Width Fits
S 28–38 cm (11–15 in) 38 cm (15 in) 2.5 cm (1 in) 10–22 kg
M 36–48 cm (14–19 in) 48 cm (19 in) 2.5 cm (1 in) 23–32 kg
L 40–60 cm (16–24 in) 60 cm (24 in) 2.5 cm (1 in) 33–45 kg

The lead is one size and fits every collar in the range.

Bow collar — XS / S / M

Size Neck Suggested weight
XS 28 cm (11 in) 1.5–2.5 kg
S 36 cm (14 in) 2.5–7.5 kg
M 46 cm (18 in) 7.5–15 kg

Every hole sits about 2.5 cm (1 in) apart, so there is room to adjust as the fit changes.

Between two sizes?

Size up. A lean, long-necked breed and a stocky one of the same weight can sit in different sizes — the neck measurement is the one that counts, not the weight.
